How the Break-even Formula Works

Your break-even point is the number of units you need to sell each day so that your total profit from those sales exactly covers your daily ad spend. Sell fewer and you lose money on ads; sell more and you are profitable.

The formula:

Profit per Unit = ASP x (1 - Fee Rate) - COGS - Shipping

Break-even Units = Daily Ad Spend / Profit per Unit
