Fulfillment & Logistics
Single and bulk fulfillment, 3PL integration, and when you need a WMS.
The Problem
At 100+ orders per day, fulfillment becomes the bottleneck. Clicking "Ship" on each order individually in Seller Center is not sustainable. Your warehouse team needs a streamlined process — scan, pack, label, ship — without touching TikTok's interface for every package.
The challenge splits into two parts: getting the shipping label (either from TikTok's platform shipping or your own carrier) and marking the order as shipped with a valid tracking number. Miss the second part and your SLA clock keeps ticking even though the package is already on a truck.
The Manual Way
- Open each order in Seller Center, select shipping method, print label
- For self-ship orders, manually enter tracking numbers one by one
- For bulk orders, download a CSV template, fill in tracking numbers, re-upload
- Cross-reference your 3PL's tracking sheet with TikTok's order list
- Hope nothing falls through the cracks
The CSV upload workflow is error-prone. One wrong order ID or tracking number format and the entire batch fails. And there is no feedback loop — you do not know which orders were successfully marked as shipped until you check Seller Center again.
The AxonRow Way
Single Fulfillment
For orders using TikTok Platform Shipping, AxonRow provides one-click fulfillment — select the order, confirm the shipping provider, and the platform handles label generation and carrier assignment. For self-ship orders, enter the tracking number and carrier, and AxonRow pushes it to TikTok via API.
Bulk Fulfillment
For high-volume sellers and 3PLs, AxonRow supports CSV-based bulk fulfillment. Upload a file with order IDs and tracking numbers, and AxonRow validates the data, matches orders, and pushes tracking information to TikTok in batch. Failed rows get flagged with specific error messages so you can fix and retry.
Package Combining
When a customer places multiple orders that can ship together, AxonRow supports combining packages — multiple orders under one tracking number. This saves shipping costs and reduces the number of packages your warehouse handles.
Where AxonRow Stops
AxonRow handles the data layer of fulfillment — pushing tracking numbers to TikTok, monitoring SLA compliance, and providing fulfillment views. It does not handle:
- Warehouse management (WMS): Pick paths, bin locations, barcode scanning, inventory counts. Use ShipHero, ShipBob, or a dedicated WMS.
- Carrier rate shopping: Comparing rates across UPS, FedEx, Royal Mail, etc. Use ShipStation, Easyship, or Shippo.
- Label printing: AxonRow does not generate shipping labels. Labels come from TikTok Platform Shipping or your carrier.
- Returns processing: Physical return handling and restocking. This is a WMS function.
If you are processing 500+ orders per day, you likely need a dedicated 3PL or WMS alongside AxonRow. AxonRow feeds the data; the 3PL handles the physical operations.
Checklist
- At 50+ orders/day, stop fulfilling one-by-one in Seller Center
- Choose your shipping method: TikTok Platform Shipping (simpler) or self-ship (more control)
- Set up bulk fulfillment via CSV or API for high-volume days
- Ensure tracking numbers are pushed to TikTok immediately — your SLA clock does not stop until TikTok sees the tracking
- At 500+ orders/day, evaluate a dedicated 3PL or WMS for physical operations
- Keep AxonRow as the data and SLA layer even when using a 3PL
